Near Groenplaats, this 16th century building houses a legendary jazz bar that was founded in 1964. While local artists started making this bar their favourite spot, the place gradually turned into a venue for jazz concerts. Legends such as John Lee Hooker, Dexter Gordon and Archie Shepp have taken the stage here. Although the bar suffered from a fire and a bankruptcy, customers and staff joined forces to keep De Muze alive. Take a seat, order a beer and a snack and enjoy the daily performances.
